Turn Visitors into Customers!

When people click on your site they land on a page, usually your Home page. As a business person not only do you want visitors to your site but you want to convert those visitors to customers and that’s where landing page optimization comes in.

There are some basic elements that need to be in place to maximize the number of calls you receive from people who visit your site.

Here they are …….

  • You need to establish trust! You can do this in a number of ways. You should have a testimonial on the page or a link to your testimonial page. If you have been in business for a long time then let people know how long you have been in business. If you belong to an association or BBB then put that information (usually a logo) on the page as well.
  • A Clear call to action! Your page needs to encourage people to call or contact you in some way shape or form. This can be accomplished by making sure your phone number is predominantly placed on the page. Advertise any “specials or discounts you may have currently running.
  • Provide Added Value! Give your visitor something of value. This might useful information they may need, a news letter, a gift of some sort.
  • Compelling Content! Make sure the information on your site is interesting, helpful and well written. Use pictures and video.

Page Appearance & Flow! Does you page look inviting or is it all jumbled? How easy is for people to find what they are looking for? How easy is it to navigate the rest of your site from the Home page?
